Sir Sean Connery’s luxury seafront villa has price SLASHED in half to £13.3million as stunning Nice property formerly owned by the late star fails to sell

Sir Sean Connery’s stunning Riviera villa has had its asking price slashed to £13.3million after failing to sell.

The incredible property in Nice formerly owned by the late James Bond star – which is still known as Sean’s place to locals – was first marketed at £26.6million in May last year but is yet to be snapped up.

Villa Le Roc Fleuri which was inhabited by the actor in the 1970s and 80s is located is the green hills of the Cap de Nice and boasts panoramic views over the Port of Nice on the French Riviera.

The mansion features six floors and eight bedrooms which look out over the Mediterranean sea and is currently marketed with night Frank Cap Ferrat estate agency.

Sir Sean’s old home features two swimming pools, one indoor infinity pool and an outdoor counterpart, a wine cellar and a staff flat above the attached garage for any additional guests.

The property is sat in 1/24-acres of sprawling grounds and also features two extra guest houses on the plot, meaning the mansion is fit for dozens of guests.

Following his death, tributes poured in in for the Oscar-winning actor who passed away in the Bahamas and leaves behind his wife Micheline, sons Jason and Stefan. 

A statement from Sir Sean’s publicist said: ‘His wife Micheline and his two sons, Jason and Stephane, have confirmed that he died peacefully in his sleep surrounded by family.

‘There will be a private ceremony followed by a memorial yet to be planned once the virus has ended.’

Sir Sean, whose movie career spans five decades, is best known for being the first to portray the role of British fictional spy 007 who he played between 1962–1971.
