Strictly star Dianne Buswell has shut down claims her and boyfriend Joe Sugg have split – instead suggesting she would love to see Joe propose.

Fans were concerned that 33 year old Dianne had split from her YouTuber beau Joe, 31, after she flew to her native Australia without him for Christmas.

But the Strictly dancer has denied the rumours, instead saying that marriage could be on the cards and explained why she made the trip to Australia alone.

She said: “It makes me laugh that people think I wouldn’t go and see my family without Joe. It blows my mind."

Dianne went on to tell The Mirror: "He knows I don’t live anywhere near my family, so if there is any chance I can go to see them… he doesn’t have to come with me everywhere."

But Dianne also added that she would even like Joe to pop the question one day. She said: “We haven’t really spoken about it, so if it happens, great. If not, we’re happy with how things are going.”

The pair first met on Strictly back in 2018, with the couple growing closer before becoming an item later in the year.

This comes following Dianne's cheeky response to split rumours last month, where she shared a naked snap of Joe to her Instagram.

She wanted to show that her relationship was as strong as ever and posted a series of Instagram photos, including a sweet mirror selfie of her and Joe, as well as photos of the couple at dinner together.

But most notably, Dianne included a photo of Joe naked and gazing out of the window, with a peach emoji used to cover up his modesty.

In the caption, Dianne wrote: “A few of my favs from the last week.

“1 . Joe looking out the window. 2. A fun photo shoot coming soon. 3. Dinner with legends. 4. Standard hair wash day. 5. Joe eating the pancakes I made him on pancake day ! 6. More of joe eating.”

She continued: “7 . Getting my hair did. 8. Calls with the niece ! 9. Vintage shopping. 10. The standard mirror selfie.”

Dianne later opened up about her solo trip to Australia, telling the Express: "It's very rare I get to see my family so I want to go and make the most of it and that's what I did.

"[The speculation] comes from a good place, but I go home and see my family and don't even worry about [it]."
