Tom Cruise's daughter Isabella claims Scientology saved her from 'drowning'

‘We all need to do this. It’s hard work. It’s a lot of effort.

‘It’s a few melt downs and running to the bathroom to have a mini episode, but it is worth everything because you will get through.

‘This is a gift to yourself and so many others. It doesn’t matter if you aren’t going to be an auditor or aren’t going to join staff.

The star also gave her actor dad a shoutout in the message, adding: ‘Thank you to my Dad for everything. To Cass. To Tash.

‘I would have drowned in my own problems if you hadn’t been there to sup me or get me through the preliminaries.’

And the Top Gun actor, who recently promised fans that they’d be getting back to back Mission Impossible films in 2020 and 2021, still appears to be just as enthusiastic about the belief as his daughter,

In fact, it was revealed that he set up a booth on 2005 film War Of The Worlds to convert the cast and crew.

That’s one way to do it.

According to The Mirror, Michael Ovitz writes in his memoir Who Is Michael Ovitz?: ‘[Steven] Spielberg told me that on the set of their 2005 film War of the Worlds Tom set up a Scientology booth to proselytise.’

Cruise reportedly angered Spielberg with his anti-psychiatry beliefs – the actor believes there is no such thing as a chemical imbalance and in 2004 proclaimed: ‘I think psychiatry should be outlawed.’

Isabella was adopted by Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman back in the 1990s with her brother Connor. Back in 2015 she married her boyfriend Max Parker in a Scientology ceremony, although Tom and Nicole didn’t attend.
