TOWIE legend James Lock is set to make a dramatic return to reality TV this summer, as he will star in the latest series of Ex On The Beach, alongside his own famous ex.
The 36 year old Essex businessman will come face-to-face with Yazmin Oukhellou, who also signed up for the MTV series.
A source revealed to The Sun that bosses were “thrilled” James will be making a return to reality TV, and have promised “fireworks” from the upcoming series.
The source told the publication: “James always makes great TV so bosses were thrilled when he agreed to come back for another round.
"He has quite the romantic history so there are plenty of exes that they can bring in to create fireworks, and it will certainly be interesting to see how he and Yaz get on.”
This will not be James’s first rodeo on the show as he starred in the 2022 series, where he was faced with his ex Megan Barton-Hanson.
James and his ex Yaz have had a turbulent past having taken time out of TOWIE in 2018 in attempts to save their relationship. Then they broke up in 2019 after Yaz accused James of partying with other girls.
The dup later managed to patch things up, before breaking up again in 2021.
Although James told The Sun that he plans on staying on TOWIE “for a long time”, he took some time away from filming the new series after he signed up to take part in MTV series The Challenge USA.
James said doing TOWIE was something he enjoyed doing and that viewers have “seen him mature “ over the years. He added that the reality show had made him who he is today.
James and former flame Megan sparked reunion rumours earlier this year when they were seen looking cosy together at a launch party in London.
The duo were seen sitting closely together on a sofa at the event, with James leaning into Megan with their heads almost touching in a loving gesture of closeness.
Megan, who has reportedly made millions on OnlyFans, looked amazing in a silver tight fitted short dress, styled with gold bracelets, rings and a watch. She wore her blonde locks down in curls and placed her hands on her legs while snuggling in close with James.
Her suspected back-on beau James looked dapper in an all black outfit, featuring a buttoned-up shirt and his mid-length brunette hair styled naturally.
