Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy and Emily Blunt look fashion-forward in bold bright colors on the red carpet of the CFDA Fashion Awards

Fashion’s biggest talents were out in full force for the CFDA Fashion Awards in New York on Wednesday night.

And the stars were ready to rock their most daring styles, with Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Emily Blunt all going bold in bright hues.

Dune diva Zendaya wowed in a red Vera Wang ensemble while Anya looked mod in plunging purple Oscar de la Renta and Emily got suited up in a boxy orange Christopher John Rogers jacket worn without a shirt underneath.



Bright ideas: Zendaya, Anya Taylor-Joy and Emily Blunt all graced the red carpet of the CFDA Fashion Awards in bold colors on Wednesday in NYC

Zendaya – who was being honored with the evening’s Fashion Icon Award – was radiant in a crimson maxi-skirt with a bubble of fabric around her hips.

Showing off her stellar abs, she donned just a simple bandeau on top. The star piled on the jewelry, adding a bracelet, necklace, rings and matching earrings.

She leaned into her natural beauty with glowing, nude makeup and sleek braids.

Anya Taylor-Joy – the first ever Face Of The Year winner – surely made an entrance as she stepped onto the red carpet in a sassy plum Oscar de la Renta dress with a plunging necklace and poofed skirt. 

Making sure to match, the Queen’s Gambit star teamed her frock with Stuart Weitzman pumps.

Emily Blunt – the evening’s host – opted for a boxy neon orange suit by fashion darling Christopher John Rogers, keeping her jacket open to reveal a dazzling diamond Bulgari pendant.

Emily slicked her hair out and her face to reveal bronze eyes while tying things together with Titi Adesa shoes.

Ciara was the image of sexy sophistication in a black off-the-shoulder Tom Ford dress. Adding some oomph, she styled her blonde locks into a romantic updo.

Wednesday night’s CFDA Awards were a return to in-person celebrations following last year’s digital event.

Talking about the ‘renewed energy’ the soiree would bring CEO Steven Kolb, said in a statement: ‘This is an important moment in American fashion.

‘There is much excitement about the return of New York City and New York Fashion Week, as well as the top caliber of diverse talent making their mark on the city and the global fashion landscape.’

Karrueche Tran brought back memories of Marlene Dietrich in a perfectly tailored black tuxedo – with the modern spin of peekaboo sides to show off her taut midriff. 



Chic: Natasha Poly, Tommy Dorfman,  and Carolyn Murphy went with dark fall silhouettes

The 33-year-old actress was attending the event alongside her fashion designer friend Latoia Fitzgerald whom she had been seen with on Insta Stories while they got ready that day ahead of the night’s festivities.

The dynamic duo could be seen at the awards show cuddling up to one another while walking the black carpet, turning to treat the photographers to their megawatt smiles.

Latoia slipped into a sizzling little black dress with a tuxedo theme including in its lapel, and she let her white jacket slide down her arms in a fashionable touch.
