I transformed my backyard, it now has a patio pool and TV grill area – people ask why my HOA don't complain | The Sun

A TIKTOKER has revealed how he refused to allow his homeowner's association to stifle his backyard style.

The content creator treated followers to a tour of his yard, which he had given a made-for-summer makeover.

The man behind the posh patio upgrade, Jpeezy (@just_n_time_2_tok) showed off his epic backyard of Eden – complete with a rounded pool filled with inflatable pool floats.

The nighttime tour also showed off torch lights, as well as stringed red, blue, and white lights over the grilling appliances and around the fence.

With bright, luminescent lights hanging from the first layer of leaves on a tree, the entire place was super lit – literally.

In the follow-up video, he gave a more extensive, daytime glimpse at the completely transformed space – and it had many people wondering how he has stayed out of hot water with his HOA.

One such follower who was surprised that his upgraded backyard didn't face backlash commented: "No HOA in neighborhood to complain about your pool?"

"So, we definitely have an HOA. But, I only keep this up for a couple of months," he responded.

The 'this' he was referring to included an expansive space with multiple seating areas featuring chairs, lounge chairs, a wooden bench, plus a flatscreen TV, and a blue and white patterned rug.

There were also plenty of kids' toys and tricycles scattered about.

"And they don't really ever just come in your backyard," the TikToker explained about the HOA as he showed off more of the patio's piece de resistance: the pool.

"This is all just stuff that I've done," he continued as he gave more of a tour of the transformed outdoor area.

The TikToker had certainly done a lot of 'stuff' as viewers got a look at the proud patio master's brick-floored grill space that featured another flatscreen TV over stainless steel appliances.

There was also a table with tanned wicker chairs, a black grill, kitschy signs, and a large fan presiding over the area.

"But this pool will be going away," he expressed as he gave another close-up of the patio's portable swimming area.

Most of his over 43,000 followers were fans of the upgraded patio – HOA-approved or not.

"I'm against HOAs, but if I love a house in a HOA they better only have a say over what can be seen while standing in front of my house," one viewer expressed.

Another follower didn't see what all the fuss over the space was for: "I mean…what’s to complain about? It’s very well done and no one sees it anyway."
