THERE'S nothing better than heading to the salon for some 'me time' and getting a manicure.
But it turns out that your choice of nail art can say a lot about your personality.
A nail technician has taken to TikTok to reveal precisely what your manicure says about you, and it's bad news if you're a fan of french tips.
The nail technician, Em, who goes by silverhairedbambi on TikTok said: "This is what your nails say about you based on a nail tech's opinion."
Em first showed an image of the classic french nail manicure and explained: "If your nails look like this you're 12 and your mum just took you to the shopping centre to get your nails done for the first time."
If you prefer nail art that features a glitter tip and bold patterns then the nail technician reckons you or your nail tech are such in the early 2000s.

She added: You're either Trisha Paytas or your nail tech is stuck in the early 2000s."
For those who prefer psychedelic patterns and neon artwork, the nail technician reveals you have extreme social anxiety.
And if you go for an all-over shimmery pink nail colour on your talons then Em suggests you might be a bit of a 'Karen'.
The nail technician said: "You'd either hate-crime me or have a lot to say about how many tattoos I have."

For those who love an over-the-top gothic-style manicure with gemstones and other accessories stuck on then the nail tech can already tell you're a great friend.
She added: "You're lowkey kind of scary but a really good friend because you literally don't give a sh** and would fight anyone."
The video has since gone viral with over 100k views and many people took to the comments section of the nail technician's video to share their thoughts.
One wrote: "No because the first one is painfully accurate."
Another person commented: "But the first one is a classic! 36 and love it!"
A third penned: "The first one is literally what I got as a first ever manicure my mom got me."
Meanwhile, a fourth user added: "The second was when I was 12 and got my nails done for the first time."
