I'm a preschool teacher… my easy Christmas hack makes hanging baubles way easier and your kids will love it too | The Sun

THE days are getting shorter, the temperatures are dropping and there's a scent of mulled wine filling your living room – it's finally Christmas.

Of course, this also means decorating the Christmas tree – but parents know what a struggle this can sometimes be, especially for young children so keen to help you in the process.

Fortunately just in time, one savvy preschool teacher has come to rescue with an easy hack that's bound to make your Christmas less stressful.

Rather than watching your kids spend hours desperately trying to stick each bauble through the branch, the childcare whizz, Preschool Vibes (@preschoolvibes) recommended swapping it with a fluffy pipe cleaner.

Demonstrating the simple trick, the mum-of-wife said: ''Don't make the mistake of using the strings that come with ornaments.

''Use pipe cleaners instead to make it easier for hanging.''

This Elf on the Shelf hack is a game changer & will make your Xmas much easier

To upgrade your baubles and make them suitable for the little Santa helpers, simply grab a pipe cleaner and pull it through the small hole on top of the ornament.

Once done, fold it into the shape of a Christmas candy cane – the hook will make it easier for children to hang the decoration without any hassle.

Although many pointed out that this would make the tree less ''aesthetically pleasing'', the teacher didn't care – it's for making life easier for both her and the students.

''Correct, it doesn’t look as good. But preschoolers have trouble with the strings.
