I'm a pro cleaner and can't stand greasy kitchen cabinets – my two-towel method makes scrubbing them easy | The Sun

A CLEANING pro has shared his tip for tackling greasy kitchen cabinets.

He couldn't stand the slimy look, so he gave a glimpse of his method for getting rid of grime.

His simple technique involved just a few common household items.

"As a pro cleaner, I see this all the time – greasy kitchen cabinets, especially above the range hood," explained the janitor behind (@cleanthatup).

With just a few steps, his cabinets were on their way to their shiniest selves.

"Using a quick and easy way you can clean that up," he said.

All it took was a few drops of Dawn and some warm water that he mixed together in a bowl.

He then took his Scrub Daddy to get his deep cleaning started.

"Scrub the entire cabinet and then come through with my two-towel system," he explained.

The self-proclaimed clean freak explained that this method involves wiping down the cabinets with a damp towel – and then buffing them with a dry one.

The satisfied scrubber had only one thing left to say about his master method: "And it's clean."

It seemed that some followers could relate to his greasy cabinet disdain.

"What if the previous owner never cleaned it and the grease is built up?" asked one of the cleaning expert's followers about her own predicament.

"Good question! I cleaned a kitchen a while back that was absolutely caked in grease. For that, I used Dawn's professional degreaser. It’s much stronger," replied the janitor.

"I guess I finally need to go buy a Scrub Daddy," one impressed follower admitted after warming up to the kitchen essential.

"They work so well and they are non-scratch!" the cleaner emphasized.
