FRENCH star Grichka Bogdanoff, 72, sadly passed away on Tuesday after a battle with Covid-19 while surrounded by family.

But before his tragic death, he and his brother Igor were well-known for their eccentric personalities and longstanding plastic surgery rumors.

Despite their drastic change through the years, both brothers denied ever undergoing surgery or procedures to enhance their physique.

Here's a look at how Grichka has changed through the years:

RISE TO FAME

Grichka and Igor were a package deal from the day they were born.

Despite coming from royalty, they rose to fame in 1979 after appearing on TV.

Together, they hosted a variety of shows with the first of these, Temps X (Time X), running for over ten years.

At the time, Grichka sported long locks and stunning features.

Most prominent were his chiseled jaw, high cheekbones, and piercing eyes.

ACADEMICS

By 1999, the brothers took a step back from television to focus on their academics.

Grichka specifically received a Ph.D. from the University of Burgundy (Dijon) in 1999.

Three years later, in 2002, Igor Bogdanoff received a Ph.D. in theoretical physics from the same university.

At this time, they began rocking white button-downs and ties, showing off a slimmer appearance.

SOMETHING HAS CHANGED?

By 2003, the brothers began to show off plumper lips and their chins continued to elongate.

However, they denied any plastic surgery rumors.

CONTINUING

A few years later, the brothers made some drastic changes in their appearance.

Their cheeks seemed more pronounced in 2009 and they were almost unrecognizable.

Their skin was also smooth, making fans wonder if they used Botox to stop the signs of aging.

In 2010, the Sydney Morning Herald described the twins' cheekbones as "so high and bulbous as to appear to threaten their owners' vision", adding that their appearance at the Cannes Film Festival had "caused a stir around the world."

The outlet noted that the twins' cheekbones had become noticeably larger in the 1990s, and that "growth in their lips and chins continued unabated through the last decade."

BIG HAIR DON'T CARE

By 2016, the twins were completely unrecognizable from their early days on TV.

Now, they showed off their voluminous hair which matched their high cheekbones.

The two also maintained their super smooth appearance.

LAST APPEARANCE

In 2020, the twins made their last appearance on TV when they were part of The Masked Singer France as the parakeets.

They were sadly eliminated by week 2.
