Coronation Street star Ryan Prescott gave his fans a thrill as he showed off his hunky body on Instagram.

The 32-year-old ITV soap star put on a healthy display posing from the gym and putting his muscles to work while aiming to impress his followers in the throwback photo.

Ryan – best known as Ryan Connor in the Weatherfield based soap – flexed his bulging muscles to the extreme in the snap as he worked out in a white vest top.

With white headphones in his ears and a moustache visible on his face, the actor teased his fans as he showed off his traps and biceps.

He wrote: "Rooaaarrrrr cleavage and stashe #gettinitback."

Meanwhile in Coronation Street Ryan is about to get embroiled in a tense storyline with ex-girlfriend Alya nazir's brother Zeedan.

Since splitting with Alya – played by Sair Khan – Ryan has been keeping a low profile aside from his brief fling with Daisy Midgeley.

While he's embraced being single, Ryan apparently still has feelings for his ex, but all that could be about to get turned on its head when he discovers some of Zeedan's darkest secrets.

The storyline is set to begin unfolding next week when Zeedan's father-in-law Hashim demands he return the £50,000 he stole from the family.

Zeedan ends up confessing all to Ryan when some of the on with her brother in a bid to win her over and try and get their relationship back on track.

His sister then tries to bargain with Hashim but this only causes further problems with the gangster.

Talking about the storyline Zeedan actor Qasim Akhtar discussed why he turns to Ryan for help despite their past differences.

He said: "There is certainly something in that saying that a problem shared is a problem halved and I think he just tells him because he needs some advice.

"He has been dealing with this situation on his own and Ryan is the only person he can really turn to as he is on to what Zeedan is up to anyway.

"So he might as well confide in him and hope he keeps it to himself. He realises that he has shot himself in the foot, far from helping him Ryan has dropped him right in it."

Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays on ITV from 7:30pm.
