Coronation Street star Sue Cleaver has revealed that ditching alcohol helped her transform her figure.
The actress – who stars as Eileen Grimshaw in the ITV soap – is thought to have shed around three stone in recent years and now looks totally different thanks to her svelte new shape.
And according to Sue, dumping the red wine had something to do with it.

Sue, 59, said: "In the pandemic we all overdid things.
"I spent a lot of it drinking lots of lovely red wine and I put on a lot of weight doing it.
"Then I did dry January and I thought, ‘I wonder what life would be like if I stopped completely?’”
Sue told the How To Be 60 podcast that she isn't much of a party animal anyway and that pub culture isn't her thing.
She said even when she drank it was "my idea of hell".
The actress is best known for being on the cobbles, having played Eileen since 2000.
However, she has also had parts in TV shows such as Casualty, Dinnerladies and Band Of Gold, and in 2022 she made a splash when she went into the I'm A Celebrity jungle.
Sue told Prima after her time in the camp she was ready for new things.
She explained: "My 50s have been the happiest decade of my life. I’m happy with me and where I am, so I’m looking forward to seeing what the next decade brings.
"Then again, if it doesn’t bring anything, I’m just going to have to make something happen myself.
"Since doing I’m A Celeb, my eyes have been opened to all these new experiences. Now, I’m just thinking, 'Right, what’s my next challenge?'"
