Corrie’s Lydia star Rebecca Ryan wows at hen party ahead of glitzy wedding

Coronation Street star Rebecca Ryan has floored fans with a "gorgeous" hen party snap.

The actress, 31, portrayed the controversial character Lydia Chambers on the ITV soap until bowing out in March.

Since Corrie, Rebecca has been busy planning her upcoming wedding and she is set to wed her long-term partner Dan Acraman this summer.

Taking to Instagram, she recently gave followers a glimpse inside her glitzy hen party.

The former Shameless star looked radiant as she posed in an asymmetric white sequin dress in front of an easel and balloons celebrating her long-overdue hen party weekend.

Rebecca wore her signature brunette tresses in long waves over her shoulders.

She completed her look with strappy silver stiletto heels and silver jewellery while also donning glam evening makeup for the occasion.

Quick to compliment Rebecca on the "gorgeous" snap were her 65k Instagram followers.

One fan wrote: "Absolutely gorgeous," while another commented: "omg goddess cant believe how grown up so fast and beautiful photo."

Meanwhile, a third admirer replied: "Think you're the most beautiful lass ever."

A fourth fan concluded: "You are absolutely bloody gorgeous. You're going to be a beautiful bride."

Rebecca has been engaged to her British Airways pilot fiancé Dan since 2018.

The couple were set to get married in July 2020 but had their original wedding plans scarpered by the coronavirus pandemic.

Speaking about the setbacks on Lorraine earlier this year, Rebecca said: "We were supposed to get married two years ago, but covid hit.

"So we're back to square one now really – looking for a venue because we couldn't change the date.

"I'm hoping, we're hoping to still get married this year, but we haven't planned anything so I need to see how it goes and get on it really."
