Danniella Westbrook wows with toned body in unrecognisable bikini throwback snap

Danniella Westbrook was another celebrity who just couldn't get enough of the warm weather across the UK over the weekend.

The 48-year-old former EastEnders star was feeling as though a holiday was needed after enjoying some Great Britsih sunshine on Saturday.

Dreaming about a heat-infused adventure, she scanned through her archives to dish up a scorching-hot offering for her loyal legion of Instagram fans.

The mum-of-two recalled a trip to remote and deserted location where she enjoyed herself while riding a two humped camel.

Looking unrecognisable, Danniella wowed as she showcased her toned body and rippling abs as she modelled a salmon coloured bikini.

Showing off her fun side, the TV star reached her arms up high in the air – proving that she didn't need to hold on to maintain balance.

Her skin with glowing a radiant bronze colour and her highlighted blonde locks looked fabulous in a choppy bob-cut style.

To complete her holiday vibe, the ex-soap star popped on a cool pair of oval shaped shades.

Along with the blast-from-the-past image, Danniella included a cryptic caption which read: "Don't give me the hump #Idontsugarcoatit."

Danniella ensured that her comments were deactivated but that didn't stop masses of her adoring fans 'hitting' the heart button to show their appreciation.

Meanwhile, over on the Albert Square actress's story, she explained that the post was shared because she was in desperate need of a holiday.

Sharing the "new post" with her 93,000 followers, the star who was better known for her role as Sam Mitchell on the popular BBC programme insisted: "I need a holiday for like six months, somewhere fabulous."

Earlier this week, Danniella alarmed her social media fans after announcing she'd been left bed bound after suffering a nasty infection.

Taking to Twitter, she frustratedly told fans another day had been lost due to illness.

She wrote: "Another beautiful day missed in bed sick with this blood infection," with get well messages pouring in beneath the post.

One wrote: "I'm sorry to hear you are not well I hope you are feeling much better very soon, sending all my best wishes to you."

Another commented: "Feel better soon hun sending hugs xxx"

Eastenders actor John Partridge, added: "Oh honey… … feel better x"
