Molly-Mae Hague shares autumn makeup routine with one ‘holy grail’ product

Molly-Mae Hague revealed her makeup routine switch-up – after ditching the everyday beauty essentials for months.

The fashion and beauty influencer recently flew to New York to attend the PrettyLittleThing x Naomi Campbell fashion show and came back with some new makeup favourites.

Sharing to fans on Instagram on Thursday, she admitted it's a "big deal" for her to change up routine, especially her makeup routine. She sat down in a dressing room and said: "So I have been revamping my makeup bag recently, which is a big deal for me, because I very rarely switch up when it comes to my makeup.

"When I was in New York, I picked up Laura Mercier's new liquid highlighters, I bought them in all three shades because I bought the first one, it was 'peach bronze', and had to go back because I was literally that obsessed."

She showed the Laura Mercier RoseGlow Liquid Highlighter and squeezed a generous amount of product before dabbing onto her cheeks and nose. Then she used a BeautyBlender sponge and "barely tap in and blend out".

"Another one I picked up is called 'gold glow', a champagne pink, so stunning that's literally blinding," the former Love Island continued, then she used a new Laura Mercier product — caviar eye sticks in shade Vanilla Kiss — and swiped it across her eyelid as a base so her eyes appeared bigger.

While Molly-Mae's in love with the new products, there's one "oldie but a goodie" makeup product that stays in her makeup bag.

She said: "I've used this for years, it's the translucent setting powder from Laura Mercie r, this is probably my most holy grail makeup product in my bag.

"I'm only doing like a light dusting, which this product is perfect for. I just finished off with a tiny bit of lip liner."

At the end of her Story update, Molly-Mae gave fans a discount code MOLLY20 to get 20% off all Laura Mercier products and the promotion runs until 11.59pm, October 1.

Fans can also try By Terry's setting powder that's filled with hyaluronic acid, which helps locking moisture in skin. Charlotte Tilbury's soft matte Easy Eye Wand, £15, can build a smokey eye look within five minutes. And Tarte's blush tape liquid blush also comes with a nice sponge applicator for easy buff and blend.
