One Direction changed the landscape of the quality of pop bands in the short time they were around. Formed during the 2010 X Factor TV show, the quintet managed to produce some memorable tracks, albums, and music videos during their time together.
Of course, since the band’s split in 2016, fans have been dying to see the likes of Harry Styles, Niall Horan, and even Zayn Malik back together making music again.
Unfortunately, no plans have yet been made public regarding any sort of reformation of One Direction.
Earlier this year saw the band speaking out about their time in One Direction as it had been ten years since they were formed.
This event prompted a massive shift in the odds on the band getting together again.
The latest odds on One Direction getting back together are better than ever.
With just a few months of 2020 left, it could be just around the corner, and fans are ready for it.
Ladbrokes recently put One Direction getting back together in 2020 at an extremely promising 1/6.
Alex Apati of Ladbrokes commented: “Directioners will be waking up to great news this morning with a 2020 reunion now looking more likely than ever according to the latest odds.”
The bigger question on every fan’s lips’ however, is if the reunion will go ahead with or without Zayn Malik.
It is no secret that Malik left the band in 2015 due to a number of reasons.
Ladbrokes also have odds on Malik joining the rest of his former bandmates in a triumphant return.
And things are looking good for fans, as the odds seem to dictate he could finally be on his way back to the group.

The betting agent placed Zayn Malik’s return at an extremely healthy 7/4 – which is the best it has ever been.
Meanwhile the chances of him not returning with the rest of the band still sit at 1/3, meaning it could really go either way at this point.
During his exit Malik posted a letter online, which read: “I am leaving because I want to be a normal 22-year-old who is able to relax and have some private time out of the spotlight. I know I have four friends for life in Louis, Liam, Harry and Niall.”
Horan recently spoke out about his relationship with his bandmates, and indeed a “falling out” he had with Malik.
He told GQ Magazine: “As long as I’ve known him, Zayn’s been the hardest man to stay in touch with.”
“Then we had a falling out a few years ago,” Horan added. “And, to be honest, that’s just the dynamic.
“You have people you are friends with and people you are not.”
It is not certain if the band are all speaking to Malik at the moment or not.
