Strictly Come Dancing star Amanda Abbington has taken to Instagram to deliver a no-holds-barred response to the ongoing rumors about her potential departure from the show. The rumour mill began after numerous reports of clashes with her professional dance partner, Giovanni Pernice, suggesting that Amanda was unhappy with Giovanni's “strict and aggressive” teaching style.
However the Sherlock and Mr. Selfridge actress decided to address the issue head-on in a pre-live show video message.
Wearing a jacket that she described as a "who cares what other people think" jacket, the 51-year-old actress made it clear that all was well between them, blasting: "Ignoring the bulls***, because clearly people are t****."

She let loose with a passionate outburst: "Just stop it, stop it, grow up. No one gives a s***. Shut up, it's b**cks, so f* off. You know who I'm talking to as well. Come on, jog on, it's nonsense and you know it's nonsense. It's all good."
In response to the controversy, Giovanni, who has faced his fair share of conflicts with previous dance partners, also took to social media to reassure fans that he and Amanda were committed to their dancing journey together.
The 33-year-old Italian posted on Instagram: "I usually don't say those things early (as everybody knows), but I'm extremely proud of you [Amanda], and I can't wait for people to watch what we have created." Amanda gave a glimpse into her preparations for the highly anticipated live show, revealing that she had been at the Strictly studio since 6 a.m. for dress rehearsals.

She candidly shared her pre-show jitters, confessing to an anxiety-fueled dream in which she forgot her dance steps.
To lighten the mood, she joked about catching a cold from Giovanni, stating: "I've got the rumblings of a cold, courtesy of Giovanni because he had one last week, so he's given it to me as a gift, which is wonderful. Yay, we share. Sharing's fun."
As the stars gear up for the premiere of tonight's show, Amanda revealed that her partner, Jonathan Goodwin, and her 17-year-old son, Joe, would be in the audience to support her. However, her daughter Grace had other plans, opting to attend a party instead.
Amanda playfully revealed her son's true motivation for attending the show, saying” "Joe is very keen. But I think it's because he wants to see Zara [McDermott]. He wants to meet Zara."
