Victoria Beckham clutches huge avocado after fish and vegetable diet surfaces

Victoria Beckham's diet could be slightly more flexible that some might think after recent revelations.

The 47-year-old former Spice Girl took to Instagram with a mind-blowing snap of a humungous avocado – which appeared to be much larger than her hand in the photo.

Stunned over the size of the gigantic fruit, the mum-of-four took to her story to show off the massive food that helps to lower cholesterol when eaten in place of saturated fat.

With the nubby brown skin in view the fashion designer wrote: "Now this is an avocado!"

Still infatuated by its size, the ex-chart topper penned: "The mother…. of avocados."

Victoria's diet has been the talk of the town in recent weeks after her footballing husband David Beckham let slip that his wife had eaten the same meal for the last 25 years.

David – who is a self-confessed foodie at heart – said on the River Cafe Table 4 podcast: "I get quite emotional about food and wine, when I'm eating something great I want everyone to try it."

He added: "Unfortunately I'm married to someone that has eaten the same thing for the last 25 years."

The former Manchester United star went on to explain that his wife Victoria would never really eat anything different.

"Since I met her she only eats grilled fish, steamed vegetables, she will very rarely deviate from that," added the dad-of-four.

The football legend did however recall one time in their relationship when the pop star did explore the food he'd had on his own plate.

He said: "The only time she's probably ever shared something that's been on my plate was actually when she was pregnant with Harper and it was the most amazing thing.

"It was one of my favourite evenings. I can't remember what it was but I know she's not eaten it since."

The fashion expert has openly revealed in the past that she doesn't eat food cooked in oil, butter or sauces and will not eat red meat or dairy either.

She recently compared her son Romeo's lunch of a burger and fries to her own in a cheeky Instagram post; while her son tucked into an In-N-Out burger, Victoria feasted on smoked salmon, avocado and three slices of lemon.

Victoria recently admitted that her favourite dinner is wholegrain toast with salt on top during a chat with Ruth Rogers on the River Cafe’s Table 4 podcast.
