The supposed UFO or unidentified flying object was caught on camera by YouTuber Terry’s Theories. The conspiracy theorist filmed the mystery object hovering near the Sun with a Nikon P1000 camera, dubbing it a “large oddly shaped UFO”. In a video shared online, the UFO hunter said he was using a solar filter on his camera when he saw something spin and fall towards the star.
He said: “I have been catching some amazing, uhh, I don’t know what to call them. UFOs? Asteroids? They don’t move like asteroids.
“What I’ve discovered is an object that is spinning out of control.”
He added: “This is very oddly shaped for an asteroid around our Sun.
“I don’t believe that this is what we’re dealing with, I believe we’re either dealing with maybe some kind of debris that was lost by NASA, or we’ve got a genuine UFO sighting here.”
After publishing the video to YouTube, the footage was analysed by self-appointed UFO expert Scott C Waring.
Mr Waring, who runs the blog UFO Sightings Daily, is convinced the mystery object could be the real deal, despite experts debunking many of his past sightings.
In his opinion, the UFO could as big as Earth’s lunar companion.
He said: “In this video, you can see a large rigid object heading into our Sun.
“But when I took a screenshot and added focus, I see a spaceship.

“There is no doubt about it. It’s an alien craft flying into our Sun.
“For us to see it and for it to be that big… we are talking moon size or more.
“Yes, its possible, when you are an alien who lives forever… time means little to you.
“You can accomplish so much more when you have endless time.”

There is, however, absolutely no evidence to suggest aliens are zipping around our solar system.
As far as scientists can tell, Earth is the only planet in our corner of space where life as we know it exists.
Instead, the UFO sighting is most likely a case of pareidolia.
Pareidolia, which is a form of apophenia, describes the brain’s tendency to see shapes and patterns where they do not exist.
The US space agency NASA said: “Pareidolia is the psychological phenomenon where people see recognizable shapes in clouds, rock formations, or otherwise unrelated objects or data.
“There are many examples of this phenomenon on Earth and in space.”
And not everyone who saw the UFO footage was convinced by Terry’s Theories’ claims.
One viewer said: “Could this also be a bird or a bug as it’s filmed from Earth and not from Solar Orbiter?”
Another person said: “Looks like a bug, fake movie.”
