US army ‘requested child-size coffins from local undertaker’ after UFO crash

A funeral parlour owner claimed he was approached by top US military chiefs after the Roswell UFO crash who were after ‘child sized coffins’.

The infamous incident occurred in Roswell, New Mexico in 1947 where many believe an alien craft crash landed in the desert.

Glen Dennis said that on that day he was called by the nearby Walker Army Airfield and propositioned for the coffins as well as some advice on how to preserve dead bodies.

Glen, who is now dead, made his comments to former military police officer James Clarkson who told the Sun what he had learned during a festival in Roswell marking 75 years since the crash.

James Clarkson explained: “A long time ago, Glen worked at the Ballard funeral home here in Roswell when he was a young man and in 1947, he got a phone call from the base, the Walker army airfield which said, 'How many child-sized coffins do you have in stock?'

"And he said, 'I only have one.' They said, 'How soon can you get more?' And he replied, 'It'll take a couple days.' And they said that's not quick enough.

"Then they called him up again. And they wanted to know how to preserve a body to keep it intact but they didn't want to treat it with chemicals.

"They asked him 'What would you use?' He said, 'Dry ice, I'd pack it with all the dry ice I could get.' Which was good advice.

"Glen gave me the whole story, I sat down with him and I would say that in about 30 or 40 minutes, any doubts that I had about the reality of Roswell were gone.

"And the man was solid. You'll hear people say he wasn't, but that was, he was your classic Southwestern gentleman. He wasn't lying."
