ITV racing tips: Glorious Goodwood – Matt Chapman's top betting preview for Thursday's TV racing

It's day 3 of Glorious Goodwood Thursday and we are in for a real treat with the Nassau looking an absolute cracker.

Once again ITV show four races on the main channel, and the fun kicks off with the 1.50pm, a handicap over nearly 1m2f.

The one I like is Al JELLABY, who will be one of the favourites but reasonable odds. He's been running well over over 1m this season but really looks like a horse gagging for a longer trip.

He's got a good draw to work from and has every chance under the excellent Adam Kirby.

Next up is a Group 2, the Lillie Langtry over 1m6f. It's about time Luca Cumani had another big Goodwood winner and GOD GIVEN has every chance.

Matt Chapman's TV tips

1.50 Goodwood – Al Jellaby: 'Running well but looks made for this trip' (bet here)

2.25 Goodwood – God Given: 'Classy and Ryan Moore is an eyecatching booking' (bet here)

3.00 Goodwood – Marie's Diamond: 'Goes on any ground and a big chance on form' (bet here)

3.35 Goodwood – Wild Illusion: 'We haven't quite seen the best of her just yet' (bet here)

She's classy over 1m4f, and there is no reason why she won't get another 2f. Ryan Moore is of course a useful booking.

It's the Group 2 Richmond Stakes over 6f for juveniles at 3.00pm. MARIE'S DIAMOND was a tough winner in Ireland last time for Mark Johnston.

This colt goes on any ground and has a fabulous each-way chance.

And finally the big one, the Group 1 Nassau over nearly 1mf at 3.35pm. This is a corker, and I take the Oaks runner-up WILD ILLUSION to come out on top for Charlie Appleby.

I don't think we have quite seen the best of her this season despite places in Classics, but she's a really good filly and this is her distance. Rain would be nice – but we won't be getting any!

So best of luck and hope for Yeeehaaas!
