Juventus and Inter could be set for huge swap deal involving Dybala and Icardi

Calciomercato claims the Italian giants are considering the move as they both look to take their forward lines in different directions next season.

Dybala has struggled to feature regularly at Juventus this season, with Cristiano Ronaldo preferred in attack.

And Max Allegri is apparently keen to bring in a poacher after loaning out Gonzalo Higuain to AC Milan and Chelsea.

It’s said he has earmarked Icardi as a prime candidate.

The Argentine has been stripped of the captaincy at Inter, prompting speculation that he’s on the way out, and a sensational swap could be in the works.

The potential deal makes sense for both parties, with Dybala a creator perfect for the No 10 spot, and Icardi a deadly No 9 who only has eyes for goal.

On paper, Dybala would be a better foil for Inter’s new golden boy Lautaro Martinez.

While Icardi is sure to thrive in a fearsome partnership with Ronaldo.

But it now remains to be seen if the two clubs will even sit round a table to discuss the deal, with Dybala and Icardi also wanted by numerous teams around Europe who are ready to pay big bucks for their coveted signatures.
