Allen Christensen looks for options for the Lions.
Allen Christensen has earned a one-year contract extension with the Brisbane Lions after making a successful return from shoulder injuries in 2018.
The 27-year-old former Cat missed all of 2017 after playing just 11 games in 2016 as collarbone and shoulder problems threatened his future.
However following a solid pre-season he is yet to miss a game in 2018, becoming a key member of the Lions' midfield as they attempt to rebuild following a diabolical era for the club.
The in-and-under specialist has only played in six wins in his 45 games in Brisbane after joined the club in 2015. He had previously played in a premiership with Geelong, enjoying a winning percentage of 75 per cent.
He left the Cats for personal reasons at the end of 2014 in a trade that saw pick 21 go to Geelong, which they used to secure Rhys Stanley from St Kilda.
Christensen is locked in until the end of 2019 under the new contract as the Lions attempt to move back up the ladder.
