ITV host Bradley Walsh helped four new contestants in the form of Perry, Ros, Anna, and Ben on The Chase this afternoon as they went up against Chaser Paul ‘The Sinnerman’ Sinha for the jackpot prize. However, after Paul began rapping at one point in the show as everyone took a brief break from the quizzing, Bradley decided to continue the rap, despite interruptions from contestants.
The Chase host Bradley is known for his humorous antics while hosting the popular quiz show.
His banter with the Chasers, as well as the contestants is welcomed by audiences.
Many loyal fans will remember the hilarious and infamous “Fanny Chmelar” meltdown, which saw the host break down in laughter for several minutes.
The quiz show on Monday afternoon saw Paul deliver a rap to his fourth contestant Ben, saying: “Welcome to the show and thanks for adding some diversity, the only member of this team who’s been to university.”
“Each member of this team has smashed the cash-builder again and again, and now a welcome to Ben.
“It’s gonna be a middle offer, you can take it but consider more, but Bradley is quite right, you are better than your four,” Paul continued.
Ben quickly replied: “I love that.”
However, Bradley then took it upon himself to add a rap of his own, weighing in: “Let’s put some money on the table, and see if you can answer questions if you’re able.
“Let’s see what the lower offer is, because he is…” Bradley continued, before being interrupted by Paul, hilariously adding: “He is unstable.”
Bradley continued rapping while Ben received his cash offers and turned to ask the team’s advice. He added: “Turn around and face the team…”
But contestant Anna interrupted, saying to Ben: “I think we need you back.”
Breaking stride in his rap, Bradley jokingly shouted at the player: “I haven’t finished my rap yet, Anna!”
He then continued to rap to applause from the studio, jokingly adding: “Ben, turn around and face the team, this show makes me want to scream. Go ahead.”
Bradley is no stranger to rapping or even singing on The Chase.
He previously rapped on the show after a former contestant showed off his impressive beat-boxing skills.
Bradley’s dad jokes, laughter meltdowns, and banter with the contestants have made him an increasingly popular host.
His antics never stray too far from Twitter’s trending page either, much to the delight of fans.
Contestants Ros and Ben were sadly beaten by the Chaser, with first and third contestants Perry and Anna gaining a total of £15,000 in the cash-builder.
Paul went on to beat the two players in a tense Final Chase with only 25 seconds remaining on the clock.
The Sinnerman has been a popular member of the quiz show since 2011, after joining as the fourth Chaser.
The Chase airs on weekdays on ITV at 5pm.
