Breaking Bad fans lose their minds as Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul confirm epic TV return

BREAKING Bad duo Walter White and Jesse Pinkman return for the final season in spin-off series Better Call Saul.

After six seasons of anticipation and teases, Bryan Cranston and Aaron Paul are set to reprise their iconic roles.

Taking to Twitter, the official Better Call Saul account surprised fans by sharing a photo of Jesse and Walt in a car, with the message: "They’re coming back. #BetterCallSaul."

Fans were mind blown by the news as one said: "Well, that’s my year made!"

Another wrote: "Awww yeah! The moment us Breaking Bad fans have been waiting for! The timelines have finally caught up…Bring it on!"

A third penned: "Oh this season gonna be spectacular."

Bryan and Aaron played Walter and Jesse respectively in the acclaimed drama, which ran for five seasons from 2008 until 2013.

They also appeared in 2019’s El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie, which picked up exactly after the finale.

Bob reprised his role as sleazy lawyer Saul for a hugely popular prequel, with part one of the final series landing on Netflix this month.

Better Call Saul co-creator Peter Gould also confirmed the characters’ return Saturday during a panel at PaleyFest LA.

He said: “I don’t want to spoil things for the audience, but I will say the first question we had when we started the show was, ‘Are we gonna see Walt and Jesse on the show?’ Instead of evading, I’ll just say yeah.

“How or the circumstances or anything, you’ll just have to discover that for yourself.

"But I have to say that’s one of many things that I think you’ll discover this season.”

Better Call Saul is available to stream on Netflix now, with new episodes releasing on April 18.
