Coronation Street fans say the same thing about Jodie Prenger | The Sun

GEORGE Shuttleworth was reunited with his sister Glenda during Friday's trip to Weatherfield.

Coronation Street fans are demanding from soap bosses a permanent role for Jodie Prenger.

The undertaker played by Tony Maudsley was struggling to cope with his toothache in recent scenes of the Manchester-based soap.

But on Friday (August 5, 2022), he decided to tune out his pain with some painkillers, resulting in him not behaving like himself.

Unfortunately, George had to be shoved into a car as his associate Todd Grimshaw was trying to make sure his attitude had no impact on a funeral which was well underway.

In a surprising twist, George's sister Glenda Shuttleworth rocked up the cobbles and saved the day.
