Coronation Street spoilers: Sarah Platt TARGETED by Adam Barlow's mystery stalker; plus EastEnders & Emmerdale news

SARAH Platt is about to become the target of her husband Adam's stalker in a nail biting Coronation Street episode due to air next week.

While he is encouraged to report his tormentor to the police by Imran, Adam decides to keep quiet after antagonising Jeremy who has admitted to keying his car.

And with Valentine's Day on the horizon, Sarah is pleased when she receives a large bouquet of flowers in a vase.

But when she thanks Adam for the gesture, she is left puzzled as the flowers were never sent by him.

This prompts Sarah to fish out for the card and a wave of dread overcomes when she reads its message: "Next bouquet will be for your funeral."

    EastEnders spoilers: Jean grows closer to Harvey

    In an upcoming episode of EastEnders, due to air next week, the cabbie gets surprisingly close to Jean Slater.

    Aaron has been behind bars ever since while Harvey is picking up the pieces, choosing to cut ties altogether with his only son and leave Walford behind with his daughter Dana.

    But when Walford residents learn of Aaron’s connection with the far-right group, which has been terrorising Albert Square for several months, Harvey is unexpectedly berated in The Vic by Jean (Gillian Wright).

    The latter accused the family man of abandoning his son.

    Following this interaction, however, scenes scheduled to air on BBC One will show the underlying chemistry between them is still very much present.

    Harvey first bumps into Jean and makes a comment which upsets her.

    Later on, Jean is visibly annoyed that Harvey is her cab driver for her doctor’s appointment.

    EASTENDERS SPOILER: Honey gets a new job

    Things are looking up for Honey Mitchell (Emma Barton).

    After quitting her job at the Suki Panesar’s (Balvinder Sopal) Minute Mart due to being harassed and intimidated by her former boss, Honey opts for a career change.

    Billy Mitchell (Perry Fenwick) is surprised and teased by traders when he learns that Honey is Walford’s new market inspector, after the job was left vacant by Stacey Fowler (Lacey Turner).

    This leads Honey to be clear, all set on not letting anybody step on her toes: despite her connection with Billy, there will be no favourites on her watch.

    Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) fails to get the memo and soon tries to bribe Honey with a cake in a bid to secure her daughter Stacey a nice spot on the market.

    Honey reiterates her warning, adding that bribery won’t work in anyone’s favour.

    Stacey is furious with her mother for getting involved in her business.

      Corrie to re-open for set tours after two years

      CORONATION Street fans will be able to visit the beloved cobbles once again next month.

      Visitors will be able to explore the ITV soap opera on a guided tour, which takes in classic locations like the Rovers Return and Roy's Rolls.

      They will resume at the Manchester set on March 12 after a two-year pandemic-related hiatus.

      During the 90-minute experience, guides will share secrets from behind the scenes and point out the locations of classic storyline moments.

      Continuum Attractions' Steve Masters, said: "Even with all the drama unfolding on our screens over the last couple of years, those cobbles haven't half been quiet and we've missed sharing them with all our guests. But it's going to be well worth the wait and we look forward to welcoming our first guests back."

      Corrie actress Sally Dynevor awarded MBE at Windsor Castle

      CORONATION Street star Sally Dynevor was awarded an MBE at Windsor Castle on Wednesday.

      The actress, 58, who has played Sally Webster in the ITV soap since 1986, received her medal from Princess Anne.

      Sally said the Princess Royal commented that being in Corrie for 36 years was "a very long time".

      She added: "I told her, 'It is, but I've enjoyed every moment of it'."

      After receiving a job offer abroad, Ellis is aware he has to leave everything behind, including Belle.

      Despite announcing the big news to his dad Al (Michael Wildman), determined to jet off for a new life, Ellis dreads breaking the news to Belle.

      Fans emotional as soap pays touching tribute to late Dr Legg

      Viewers watched last night’s episode end with a touching tribute to the man behind Dr Legg after he passed away aged 95.

      The message read: “In memory of Leonard Fenton. 1926 – 2022.”

      One emotional fan wrote: “Aww came up at the end of #eastenders that Leonard Fenton had died… Dr Legg …"

      Another added: “Sad to hear the lovely Leonard Fenton has passed away. 

      “He'll always be remembered as Dr Legg from #EastEnders “

      When is Coronations Street back on ITV?

      The soap will return on Monday at 7:30pm as usual.

      The hour long episodes will now air on at 8pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

      The new schedule will kick on from March until further notice.

      Corrie's new schedule may threaten rival soaps such as EastEnders due to the clash in times.

      John Whiston, ITV's head of commissioning shared: “With Coronation Street bursting at the seams with fantastic story and character, the new format gives the show a brilliant new canvas on which to shine.

      “And Emmerdale will do what it does best in this new time slot where viewers can continue to enjoy the dramatic goings-on in the Dales.”

      The Jacob Gallagher actor, 19, shared a loved-up selfie with Anna on Instagram last night along with a love heart emoji.

      It comes a year after he split from his former partner of four years, Nicole Hadlow.

      A source said: "Joe and Anna are totally smitten with one another and feel now is a good time to let the world know they're an item.

      "They've been spending a lot of time together recently at charity football events and make each other really happy."

      Joe-Warren has been single ever since he split from Nicole. Their separation followed rumours he had grown close to his Dancing on Ice partner Vanessa Bauer. 

      Last year he told The Sun how the show helped distract him from the troubles in his personal life.

      The FA Cup will be shown from 7:30pm – 10:20pm on ITV tonight.

      This unfortunately means Coronation Street will not be aired tonight.

      The official Coronation Street Twitter page announced in late January that the soap will now air hour long episodes.

        Ben Mitchell reunites with husband Callum leaving fans thinking the same thing

        Ben’s dad Phil asked Sharon to look after his businesses while he is in prison – but admitted he was terrified about leaving Ben when he was in such a bad way.

        Later Sharon went to see Ben to give him some advice.

        She told him how losing husband Dennis destroyed her – and forced her to fake it until she made herself happy again.

        It got through to Ben – and he turned up at the Albert street party just in time to see Jack Branning arrest Callum for being a public nuisance or something.

        But at the last minute as Jack began to arrest Callum – Ben arrived and put a stop to it.

        With Stacey, Kim and Sonia stepping in to warn Jack that they’d tell Denise what a jobsworth he was being, Jack and the other police left.

        Ben and Callum shared a kiss and reunited – but as Callum rejoined the party, Ben’s face fell.

        Looking broken and terrified, he stared into the distance leaving fans worried he was bottling up serious mental health issues.

        And they are worried about him.

        The Woolpack’s new owner is revealed in bombshell twist

        The pub was put up for auction after being gutted by the explosion caused by Al Chapman – and at the last minute former landlady Charity Dingle bought it alongside son Ryan Stocks.

        After the bidding war broke out and Cain threw himself into the bidding to boost the price, Moira warned him to stop bidding even after he said they could sell his garage and her farm to raise the cash.

        When it sold for £325,000 – far more than expected – Chas was thrown.

        And the auctioneer added one more bombshell.

        He told her the new buyer was summoning her to the pub to reveal her identity.

        The entire Dingle family were expecting Kim Tate to be stood there waiting but there were in for a shock.

        And when Kim arrived, Chas demanded she tell her that she was the new owner – leaving Charity stood behind them all trying to interrupt.

        “It’s me you daft cow,” Charity revealed before pointing to her son Ryan.

        “Sorry, we are the new owners of The Woolpack. Surprise.”

        Fans are in shock at the reveal.

        One wrote: "Charity & Ryan are the new owners of The Woolpack !!!"

        A second said: "Charity has brought The Woolpack?! That's a shock to the system."

        Another added: "Told you all last week it was Ryan buying the pub,with the money left by his adopted Mums legacy."

        Marcus reveals dad Pierce Harris abused him on Emmerdale

        The rapist killer – who was played by actor Jonathan Wrather in the ITV soap – contacted victim Rhona Goskirk to ask her to find his now adult son Marcus.

        She managed to and tonight he arrived in the village and revealed his own tragic backstory.

        “I was really young so emotional abuse wasn’t really part of my thinking,” Marcus explained.

        “But I always had to be quiet when daddy was around.

        “I swear I was walking on eggshells from the moment I took my first steps.

        “It was always guaranteed he would kick off at some point, and then there would be a row and mum would try and calm things down without success."

        Marcus then asked Rhona to go with him to visit Pierce – and she was visibly shaken.

        And fans think it’s shown a darker side to him even asking her that.

        One wrote: "So…..I'm guessing Pierce's son left at a young age? But why does it feel like he's stringing Rhona along?"

        A second said: "I am not buying that this Marcus is Pierce’s son – at no point has he ever been mentioned. And for someone to approach Rhona with a request is a bit suss."

        SPOILER: Nina Lucas seeks help over crippling anxiety condition

        In scenes due on our screens next week, becoming aware of her concerning behaviour, Nina turns to her doctor and is grateful when Roy Cropper (David Neilson) offers to accompany her, showing his support.

        Following the appointment, Nina informs both Roy and Asha that she has been added to the waiting list for counselling.

        In the meantime, her doctor has advised her to find other methods to tackle her anxiety.

        This could be the first step to healing for Nina after an incredibly difficult year in 2021.

        Over the festive period, Nina's anxiety became so crippling she decided to shut herself away completely.

        An overwhelmed Nina eventually confided in her girlfriend, letting her know she is suffering from anxiety attacks.

        SPOILER: Dawn Taylor fights for her life as Meena Jutla returns

        Meena Jutla is back in the Dales and has hatched a plan for revenge in an upcoming episode.

        Dawn's (portrayed by actress Olivia Bromley) wedding with Billy isn't off to a great start.

        With Meena (Paige Sandhu) lurking in the shadows, the pair are facing grave danger.

        In scenes due to air next week on ITV, Dawn prepares for her big day with the help of Harriet Finch (Katherine Bow Blyton) and Kim Tate (Claire King) who has agreed to leave her Home Farm as a venue.

        Like any other bride-to-be, Dawn goes through the stage of finding the wedding dress of her dreams before her hen do.

        But when she heads home from the quiet party to retrieve her phone, in the case Brenda would be needing her, the colour drains from her face as she sees that her dress has been slashed and defiled.

        The white dress bears a horrifying message and, soon, it becomes clear that Meena is hellbent on revenge.

        Hearing the door creak, Dawn spots the back door is ajar.

        Knowing the evil nurse's murderous ways, she readies herself to fight for her life and grabs a bat.

        SPOILER: Stacey Fowler’s new love interest revealed

        Stacey opens her new business venture with the support of her mother Jean (Gillian Wright) and Eve in upcoming scenes due on our screens next week.

        A long line of customers is already eagerly waiting when Stacey spots Kheerat.

        Served by Jean, the latter shares a longing look with Stacey, implying the chemistry is still very much present between them.

        Despite contracting food poisoning, Kheerat then makes a kind gesture towards Stacey by paying the difference for the repairs on her van.

        Stacey decides to visit him to thank him but the pair are interrupted by Vinny after sharing a moment.

        Later on, however, Kheerat pays Stacey a visit and leaves her smitten with a kiss on the cheek.

        But how will Eve react to this connection?

        Hollyoaks’ Chelsee Healey to ‘return’ to Waterloo Road

        The 33-year-old, who plays Goldie McQueen in the Channel 4 soap, is currently in talks to rejoin the cast as Janeece Bryant on the BBC show as it returns to TV after six years.

        An insider said: “Chelsee rose to fame on Waterloo Road so it holds a huge place in her heart.

        “She’s chatting to them about what she can do to be part of the reboot, but she won’t be quitting Hollyoaks.

        “She’s a well-loved character so bosses are keen to give her the time off she needs so she can film the BBC show.”

        Chelsee appeared on Waterloo Road from 2006 to 2012  before joining the cast of Hollyoaks in 2016.

        Corrie’s Daniel makes bombshell confession to Daisy

        CORONATION Street’s Daniel Osbourne has confessed the truth about trying to murder Max Turner – to a horrified Daisy Midgeley.

        The teacher – who is played by actor Rob Mallard in the ITV – pushed Max down the stairs after finding he had broken into his flat.

        But Daniel lied to police and insisted Max had fallen.

        Last night, Daniel and Daisy ended up rowing in the flat – before it turned to passion and they began kissing.

        But as Lydia walked in, the pair flew apart and pretended they hadn’t just been passionately hate-kissing their way through the flat.

        “So I’m going to go,” said Daisy in an awkward moment.

        But Lydia’s facial expression proved she knew more than she was letting on.

        And when Daniel confessed to the kiss and decided to be honest and break up with her, things took a turn.
