Corrie star Harry Visinoni reveals his reaction to Seb's sad death

Seb Franklin (Harry Visinoni) and Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) faced a brutal attack in Wednesday’s episode of Coronation Street.

As Seb and Nina were rushed to hospital, tonight Abi (Sally Carman) and Kevin (Michael Le Vell) discovered that Seb’s ventilator was the only thing keeping him alive, which meant Abi was forced to say a devastating goodbye to her son.

Harry Visinoni has played Seb Franklin for five years and now his final scenes as the character have aired, Metro.co.uk spoke to Harry where he revealed his reaction to learning about Seb’s final storyline and his death:

‘It was quite emotional really, the crew shouted “that’s a wrap for Harry” and I got a clap and all that – I was welling up which is a rare thing for me! I also drew the short straw because we aren’t allowed leaving drinks during Covid!’

‘I met with producer Iain MacLeod to discuss potential avenues going forward’ Harry said when discussing Seb’s final storyline.

‘The hate crime storyline was suggested as an option and I decided it as a fitting end for the character and a storyline I’d love to be a part of.

I never intended to stay in the show forever and it was always a goal of mine to play a major part in a story that is huge for the show. It wasn’t something I could pass up.’
