Emmerdale confirms Noah is not the dad of Amelia’s, 15, baby as fans ‘work out’ real father

Emmerdale confirmed that Noah Dingle is not the father of Amelia Spencer's baby on Thursday's episode.

Only recently, Amelia confided in Charity Dingle, who is also pregnant, with the character jumping to the wrong conclusion that her son Noah is the dad.

During the latest instalment, Noah returned home from prison and Charity wasted no time in confronting her son, dramatically declaring: "She's [Amelia] pregnant with your baby!"

To which a stunned Noah replied: "How can she be when we've not even had sex?", he then added to an upset Amelia: "You can't be pregnant! Not by me, I swear it!"

With Amelia shouting: "It's true, I am!" over the pregnancy news before running out into the village.

Charity then found the teenager as they had a heart-to-heart with Amelia admitting that Noah isn't the father and that she tried to tell the truth but she had already jumped to the wrong conclusion.

After Amelia apologised, Charity then asked: "Not Noah, who is it?"

To which the teenager replied: "He's just a random lad from church, probably won’t say ought" as she admitted he wouldn't care about her being pregnant.


Later, Amelia had a heart-to-heart with Noah as he encouraged her to think carefully before rushing into an abortion.

Weighing up the pros and cons, Amelia said: "God’s given me a baby for a reason…", making her decision she added: "I want to keep this baby, I want to have it!"

However, despite Amelia claiming that "a random lad from church" is the father, viewers think they have figured out who the real dad is.

Taking to Twitter, one person said: "Samson is gonna be a daddy #emmerdale."

A different account put: "I had a feeling Noah isn't the daddy. maybe Samson… #emmerdale."

Another follower wrote: "Never though it was Noah’s. My money has been on Samson or Heath #emmerdale."

While a different viewer added: "I wonder if Amelia’s baby daddy is either Samson or Heath. #Emmerdale @emmerdale."
