Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) truly misses her son Aaron (Danny Miller) since he left Emmerdale in emotional scenes.

So she is chuffed to receive communication from him in the form of a letter – but when it goes missing, she questions whether scheming Al Chapman (Michael Wildman) has thrown it away.

As she searches for it, she asks Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) if Al would really be so childish – to which he doesn’t reply.

There’s your answer, then!

But Al hasn’t finished there. Determined to drive a wedge in the workforce, he has sabotaged emails from Marlon (Mark Charnock) which outlines the offer to customers.

Marlon sent out emails which stated a free glass of champagne but Al has altered the message to change it to a bottle.

Chas is left fuming by this, knowing that this will lose money – and that customers will be swilling the bubbly at their leisure.

She won’t blame Marlon and knows what Al has done, which leaves her so angry that she throws a bottle against the wall.

There goes another one. Bad for profits.

But Al is only going to get worse as he tightens the screws.
