Emmerdale unveils new twist as third character joins with Caleb and Nicky to take down Kim

Emmerdale fans were treated to a third twist in the ongoing fight to bring down Home Farm owner Kim Tate, as another character was revealed to be embroiled in the plot to help Caleb and Nicky Miligan claim back their fortune.

During Tuesday night’s episode, Caleb confirmed that a mystery character, who appeared to be a solicitor, was helping with their plot to target Kim without her even knowing.

The solicitor was seemingly revealed to be in on the plan to steal Kim's fortune including her hidden money – while it's not even known for sure if Caleb is lying about their identity.

Last week it was revealed that Caleb and Nicky are father and son, with Caleb also being the son of Kim’s ex-husband Frank Tate, the previous owner of Home Farm up until his death.

It was also revealed that Caleb now intends to claim back his father’s fortune and leave Kim without a penny, and is willing to go to great lengths in order to see the con through to the end.

Kim famously stole money from Frank after his death and hid multiple assets, while Frank was also the original owner of Home Farm when he lived there with Kim and his children Chris and Zoe.

As the plan got underway to steal her fortune on Monday, Caleb managed to convince Kim to give him the money to invest in his name, so that any child of Frank’s couldn’t lay claim to it.

While Caleb pretended to be concerned about going into business with someone who could lose their money and was actively hiding it, she made a decision.

Kim told Caleb that she could move some of her money into their shared stud farm business – with Caleb urging her to put an offer in on the project sooner rather than later, so they didn’t miss out on a lucrative deal.

While he said she should focus on the letter and the legal issues possibly arising from the heir's claim, Kim soon panicked she was about to lose Caleb as a business partner, and even suggested hiding the money with him instead.

But by Tuesday, Kim’s husband Will was already dubious about the plan, and shared his concerns that he thought it was too risky.

However, undeterred Kim still vowed to plough ahead, and Caleb sensing the prime opportunity, soon tried to convince Kim to move solicitors and go through his firm instead.

Not seeing the trap she was falling into, Kim soon agreed and later revealed the news to Will and Gabby, that on the advice of the new firm she may have to make some changes and put her money elsewhere.

As the episode drew to a close, it was then revealed that Caleb had someone working on the inside at the law firm, meaning he had yet another hand to play in stealing Kim’s fortune once and for all.

Although no details have yet been given about the identity of the mystery helper, some fans have even speculated it could be Meena Jutla’s barrister, Defence Barrister Milligan.
