Emmerdale: Wendy tells Bernice and Brenda how Bob’s doing

Emmerdale viewers think they’ve worked out the fate of Bernice Blackstock (played by Samantha Giles) after her dark secrets were exposed.

Last week, fans of the ITV show learnt Bernice had taken out a huge £20,000 loan out in her sister Nicola King’s (Nicola Wheeler) name.

When bailiffs showed up to take Nicola’s belongings, the truth came to light as Bernice left a note explaining she’d left the village, in fear of being arrested.

However, during Monday night’s episode it transpired she was hiding in Brook cottage, where Nicola later discovered her.

Unfortunately, it’s not just her sister whom she’s landed in trouble, as Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) also found out she’d stopped paying suppliers for the B&B, putting his business in serious trouble.

During the episode, Bernice was confronted by Nicola and Bob, who demanded she pay back the money.

When Bernice insisted she was able to pay them all back by getting a job, Nicola wasn’t having any of it.

At the end of the episode, her sister revealed she had no other choice but to report her to the police for the fraud she’d committed.

It wasn’t long before viewers were quick to realise it’s highly likely that the way in which Bernice will be leaving the village for good would be in handcuffs.
