JAMES Moore has been a familiar face on Emmerdale since he joined the ITV soap in 2018.
James plays Ryan Stocks – Charity Dingle's long-lost son – and stands out from his cast mates thanks to his long dark locks, facial hair and emo fashion sense.
However the 29-year-old, who has ataxic cerebral palsy, shocked fans by sharing a throwback snap to 2009 on social media.
While James seems to still be embracing the emo-look, his hair is completely different, short and swept across half his face, while the back flicked out at his neck.
He wrote: "2009 vs 2019. Don’t ask.”
He added: "To everyone asking if I was into @justinbieber the answer is only after 2012 when he ventured into R&B Journeys/Purpose era… so basically after the swoopy hair phase.
“The explanation for the photo above was that I was just a big fat emo.”
A fan replied: "But were you a pop punk emo or a metalcore emo?”
