GEMMA Collins gave fans a first look at her Chicago rehearsals as she prepared to make her West End debut.

The 41-year-old revealed she's making a shock career change after landing a role in Chicago the musical.


Gemma showed fans rehearsals were underway on Instagram – and she'll take to the stage for the first time in May.

She said: "Guys, today is such a fab day. I'm in rehearsals for Chicago.

"This is my musical supervisor. I'm learning the script."

She then showed fans the vocal warm-ups she was doing ahead of hit song 'When You're Good to Mama.'

Gemma revealed her glam new acting role on Instagram.

Posting a black and white shot, Gemma wrote: "It’s official! I’m gonna be joining @chicagoonstage playing Matron ‘Mama’ Morton from Tues 31st May 2022!"

The Sun revealed the news last month and told how former Towie star Gemma will take over from Sinitta.

A source at the time said: “Gemma has been in secret talks about playing Mama Morton for some time and is very excited about the opportunity.

“She has not signed anything yet as there are still issues to be ironed out with the agreement. But all being well, she will sign in the coming days.”

Gemma, who shot to fame on the ITV2 reality show in 2011, has gone on to become a household name courtesy of a host of TV appearances.

The GC revealed her former Celebrity Big Brother housemate Darren Day – who she said her infamous catchprase "I'm claustrophobic Darren" to – helped her land the part in Chicago.
