On Saturday night’s Strictly Come Dancing, the remaining celebrities took to the dancefloor in a bid to impress the judges. However, when Giovanni Pernice and his dance partner Rose Ayling-Ellis performed their routine, the duo made a small mistake.

When it came to the judges giving their feedback, Motsi pointed out the pair had slipped up during their routine.

However, Giovanni held his hand up and was quick to point out that it wasn’t Rose’s mistake, saying: “It was my mistake.”

“I felt the joy,” Motsi Mabuse told them. “I felt the joy when you said yes to the wedding. I hope I get an invitation, guys.”

“Call me,” the judge joked. “There are so many factors that improved in your dance.

She continued: “Your posture, the way you express yourself. There is just a combination of fun and pureness.

“There was a tiny, tiny Minnie Mouse mistake…”

Giovanni proceeded to put his hand in the air and admitted: “Mine. Yes, it was my mistake.”

Motsi added: “It was so tiny. Everything else was up there and it was just a joy to watch.”

Tess went on to ask Shirley Ballas about how Rose had improved, the judge replied: “I did and as Motsi said on so many levels.

“It was outstanding, I was excited. I want to channel my inner Craig and say ‘Fab-u’ I just couldn’t give you the ‘lous’ because there was a mistake on the end.”

Anton Du Beke went on to say: “It is a joy to watch you dance.

“You’ve taken musical theatre and ballroom and combined it perfectly.”

Viewers also loved Giovanni and Rose’s performance and many took to social media to praise the duo.

Ais penned: “Rose and Gio signing the spoken words has broken me.”

Katie praised: “I hope that by having Rose on the show it encourages other young children who watch that you really can do anything.”

While Kerry tweeted: “Rose & Giovanni are ADORABLE!!!”

Last weekend, Sara Davies was sent home after landing in the bottom two with Tilly Ramsay.

Ever since the bookmakers have been predicting who will be eliminated on Sunday.

The latest odds according to Betfair suggest BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker will be the next celebrity to leave the show.

Tilly Ramsay, who has landed in the bottom two twice so far, could also be at risk of elimination.

McFly star Tom Fletcher could also face the dance-off on Sunday night.

Strictly Come Dancing returns on Sunday at 7.15pm on BBC One.
