THE new series of SAS: Who Dares Wins begins on Sunday and millions are expected to tune into Channel 4 to watch the smash hit TV show.
But could you be a contestant in a future series and complete the gruelling tasks? Here’s how you can apply.
How can I apply for series 7 of SAS: Who Dares Wins?
You can apply for the next series of SAS: Who Dares Wins by completing a form on Channel 4’s website.
Applications are now being accepted and you need to be a British Citizen, Irish Republic Citizen, British Commonwealth Citizen or hold dual nationality with one of the aforementioned to put your name forward.
Because of the exhausting nature of the show, people from some demographics aren't eligible to apply.
How physically fit do I need to be?
Applicants must prove their fitness before filming begins.
Contestants need to be able to do a minimum of 44 full press-ups and 50 full sit-ups, each under two minutes.
They need to be able to carry two 20kg weights over a distance of 120m within two minutes and reach level 10.1 on the beep test – the equivalent of running 1.5 miles inside nine-and-a-half minutes.
And they need to be able to do a static lift onto a platform 1.45m high to assess the maximum weight they can lift, although this is not a pass or fail test.
Applicants are advised not to apply if they are unable to complete this fitness test.
What other restrictions are there?
Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 44 years (and 364 days) on October 31, 2021.
They also need to be at least 5'1 (158cm) and weigh at least eight stone (50kg).
And applicants cannot be currently serving in the armed forces.
When will series 7 take place?
Filming will take place between September 9 and 26, 2021.
Contestants will also need to be available some days before September 9 in the UK, most likely for promotional purposes.
There is no news yet as to where the series will be filmed, but applicants require a valid passport.
SAS: Who Dares Wins is often filmed in various locations around the world, although that may change due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.
Applicants aren't paid for participating on the show but expenses are covered.
The series will most likely air in Spring 2022.
