EastEnders viewers witnessed the tragic end of the harrowing domestic abuse storyline between Chantelle Atkins (Jessica Plummer) and Gray (Toby-Alexander Smith) on Friday September 18.
After weeks of distressing scenes between the pair, abusive Gray was told by a defiant Chantelle that she was leaving him, but it wasn’t to be.
Gray ended up killing Chantelle – and Metro.co.uk have revealed what happens in the aftermath in Monday night’s episode.

Chantelle revealed to Gray that she was leaving him on Friday’s episode, but Gray instead told Chantelle she wasn’t going anywhere.
He then shoved her, causing her to fall on an open dishwasher, and wounding herself on a sharp knife.
After falling on the knife, Chantelle was shown pleading with Gray to get help.
While it initially looked like he would step up to redeem himself slightly, he instead left her to die.

Gray was shown going for a walk while his partner died, alone, to give himself a credible alibi.
Will Gray get caught?
In teasers for upcoming episodes, it appears as if Gray does fall under suspicion.
Gray does his best to try and deceive the police officers, but it is known that new evidence is due to come to light that will cast suspicion over his role in Chanetelle’s death even further.
However, viewers will have to stay tuned to find out if he gets caught, and Chantelle’s killer gets justice.
