Georgina Rodriguez is starring in her own Netflix documentary series, I Am Georgina. The series delves into her personal life and features interviews from her family and friends, including Cristiano Ronaldo. Here is all you need to know about how Georgina and Cristiano met.
How did Georgina Rodriguez and Cristiano Ronaldo meet?
Georgina and Cristiano have been together since 2017 and they have four children between them.
The 28-year-old model, who is now pregnant with twins, details how she met the love of her life in her new series.
She used to work for Gucci as a shop assistant and this is how she met Cristiano.
In the series, she explains how it was the day that changed her life.
She said: “I get to Gucci as usual, I was off at five in the afternoon.
“A colleague calls me and says ‘Hey Gio, I’m on vacation, but listen. There’s a client who’s going to buy some coats’.
“‘Please stay half an hour and take care of her’. And when I’m leaving the store, I see a very handsome man appear, almost two metres tall.
“He was with a boy and some friends, and I stand frozen.”
She explained how Cristiano’s son Junior greeted her politely, and she felt butterflies in her stomach.
Cristiano is then heard explaining how their first encounter was a moment when “we clicked”.
He said: “And that’s when she got stuck in my head. That’s the pure truth.”
The pair started talking more regularly and they ended up going to the same social event.
Following the night, they were left wanting more and could not stop thinking about each other.
Cristiano said their relationship was not sudden, and they spent a few months talking naturally as friends.
Because the football star had a lot of games, they did not see each other as much as they would have liked.

This was until one day, they ran into each other at another event and Cristiano invited her for dinner.
She recalled: “As we walked to the restaurant our hands brushed each other’s and it felt as if his hands had been with me many times before.
“Once our hands brushed by accident, we went for it and held them together.”
From then on, Cristiano would pick Georgina up from work and she recalled the expensive sports cars he would bring.
Her colleagues were amazed at how her life had changed as she was seen with one of the most famous men in the world.
Cristiano said: “She was a very interesting girl, much more mature for her age, really.
“We have a bit of an age difference and I started to get hooked, it kept me interested.”
Cristiano is 36 years old, so there is an eight-year age gap between the couple.
In October 2021, the pair announced they were expecting twins.
On Instagram, the football star said: “Our hearts are full of love, we can’t wait to meet you.”
