Inside Stacey Solomon’s £917 complete makeover of baby Rex’s bedroom

STACEY Solomon showed off her impressive £917 complete makeover of baby Rex’s bedroom.

The 31-year-old star regularly shares her home renovations with her fans since moving into her £1.2 million Tudor-style mansion in Essex.

The Loose Women panellist gave her followers a glimpse inside her youngest son's incredible bedroom transformation.

The DIY guru also shared the details of the items purchased to help others replicate a similar look.

Stacey tastefully decorated the room with a splash of white paint and a range of personal touches to bring the space to life.

She has added a variety of framed prints on the wall from Mutha Maker costing around £6.50 each.

The X Factor star has also decorated the room with Zebra wall heads priced from Dunelm at £8 each.

The star proved she's a dab hand at home improvements, she painted the room and added stickers animal wall stickers from Amazon costing around £9.99 per pack.

She also transformed the room with a LED infinity tunnel star shaped lights from Pohove at £9.99 each.

Stacey even created a feature wall on a budget with some grey paint costing around £19.99 and added a cute Panda shelf from Amazon at £16.99.

The TV beauty even sanded down the flooring herself by loaning one for £35.

Rex can enjoy a lovely snooze in his Mi Zone Wooden Day Bed from Benson for Beds priced at £399.00.

The I'm a Celeb winner added an array of gorgeous features including Shenan Hex touch lights for £44, for a pack of 10.

Stacey splashed out on some gorgeous bedding from La Redoute priced around £45.

The TV favourite completely transformed her son's wardrobes using grey paint for £19.99, Panda shaped door handles for £3.99 each at Fenwick andSticker Tiles from Amazon at £16.99.

The star also created a sweet space for her son to be creative using £9 chalk paint from Amazon.

Stacey completed the room with a Paper Roll from IKEA at £7 and a sweet Scandi height chart ruler for £150.

She also added soft furnishings including a Boho rug thick and soft with tassles on the end for £77 and a wicker basket for £24.

The telly babe also bought three large Pandas which recently left fans in hysterics after her son's spotted something rude.

Stacey had attached the pandas diagonally – all grabbing onto the other in a line, but Leighton soon had his little brother giggling as he pointed out they were holding each other's bums.

She later took to her garden to admit that "everyone was getting on her nerves", referencing a sordid horror film as she confessed: "I don't know why I'm so moody, i think the Human Centipede pandas actually did send me over the edge."

But never one to be kicked down for long, today the artistic mother-of-three set to work as she tried to improve her feature wall.

"Sooo many of you messaged me to say if you paint a balloon at the top of the pandas it'll look better, so I took your advice."

Stacey then added the sticker that read: "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other!"

And she clearly found the entire process a bit emotional, admitting that she was tearful as she told fans: "Not me sitting here crying at a wall!

"Sooo many of you messaged me to say if you paint a balloon at the top of the pandas it'll look better, so I took your advice."

Stacey then added the sticker that read: "The best thing to hold onto in life is each other!"

And she clearly found the entire process a bit emotional, admitting that she was tearful as she told fans: "Not me sitting here crying at a wall!

"The best thing in life to hold onto is each other… And bums, don't forget bums!"

The mum-of-three said that she was "proud" of the overhaul and was keen to see little Rex make plenty of memories in it.

She wrote: "? Rex’s Room ? – ???? ✔️ FINALLY… I’m so proud of this little room. I hope you make so many memories and happy thoughts in here pickle.

"You and all of your favourite pandas ?? Rex and me have worked so hard in here to try and make him a special space and we are so so proud of it!

"It’s the first bedroom we could complete because it didn’t need any building, electrics or wardrobes fitted so we just painted and jazzed up what was in there already.

"I love it so so much and I can not wait to watch you grow up in here little one, just not too quickly please ?."

Stacey keeps her millions of followers entertained with her regular updates on the house renovation, which she kicked off just days after she and fiance Joe Swash moved into the stunning mansion earlier this year.
