AFTER seeing George Ezra, Gary Barlow, Leona Lewis and, er, Strictly judge Craig Revel Horwood throwing their hats into the ring for the Christmas No1, JLS are getting in early for next year.

The group have confirmed they would like another shot at the coveted chart position after their only festive song, Do You Feel What I Feel, only reached No16 a decade ago.

But they are sure to have stiff competition from charity campaign champion Ladbaby, who broke records after landing his fourth consecutive No1 this year with Sausage Rolls For Everyone alongside Elton John and Ed Sheeran.

In an exclusive chat about their goals for next year, JB Gill said: “We always have a list of achievements we want to strive for and a Christ- mas No1 is on there.

“You don’t know what the future holds and we always think the best way to look at everything is by being in the here and now. But there are loads of things we want to achieve.”

And the group, also made up of Oritse Williams, Marvin Humes and Aston Merrygold, made it clear they’ve got some big plans in the pipeline.

Ori continued: “A stadium tour would be great! When the four of us come together and we put our energy into something — magic happens.

“We are a real group, it’s not just for show. People say on stage that when we move, we move like one organism. When you’re in it, you don’t see it, but you feel it. As a group we can do great things.”

Ed Sheeran and Taylor Swift set to team up for his new single next month

The band, who found fame as the winners of The X Factor in 2008, announced in my column in February last year that they were getting back together after a seven-year break.

Since then they have dropped new album JLS 2.0, which went straight to No4, and gone on a nationwide tour across October and November including three headline shows at London’s O2 arena.

And while they’ve made it clear there is a lot more to come, Aston said he liked to look back as well as forwards.

He said: “We have become a household name from us being four boys standing in a dusty room in Fulham.

“We were told by every single person that boy bands don’t work. But we are four hard-working, focused men and we’ll keep giving it our all. The sky’s the limit for us.”

DJ CALVIN ON HIT LIST

AFTER working with a superstar DJs including David Guetta,  Tiesto and Oliver Heldens, Becky Hill has another in her sights.

In a new interview, Becky said: “I’d love to work with Calvin Harris, he’s amazing.

"He’s always been around me growing up and has been a huge influence in my dance music career and I’d love to sit with him and pick his brain and write a song with him.”

Becky wowed the crowds during her live performance at the Jingle Bell Ball this month and told me she was proud of how far she had come since she appeared on The Voice in 2014.

She said: “ There’s no other feeling like progressing in your career.”

Money making GC TiK

GEMMA COLLINS will be seeing out 2021 with another mega-money deal.

The former Towie star, whose brand appeal appears to know no bounds, has blagged a six-figure sum for teaming up with social media giant TikTok.

A source said: “Gemma earned enough cash to wrap her Christmas presents with fifty pound notes this year.

“She knows how to hustle and works hard for her cash – and bagging over £200,000 for teaming up with TikTok was a nice way to round off the year.”

“After working her socks off over the past 12 months, Gemma has put her feet up over Christmas but come the New Year she’ll be back out there.

The source continued: “In 2022 Gemma has vowed to work even harder – fans have much to look forward to.”

I know, I don’t get it either. However, you have to admit that everything this woman touches seems to turn to gold.

KANYE NOT OVER KIM

KANYE WEST just can’t seem to move on from his ex-missus Kim Kardashian.

Two weeks after she filed to be declared “legally single” he has bought a £3.3million house across the street from where Kim lives with their four children in LA.

Kanye paid over the odds for the five-bedroom house to make sure he got it.

Kanye has said a number of times he want to reconcile with the reality star, and this is more proof.

Jade's Jordan gives her kickstart

JADE THIRLWALL has revealed that her boyfriend Jordan Stephens has helped to transform her life for the better.

And not just because of all the perks that come with having someone special in your life.

The Little Mix star says the Rizzle Kicks singer has helped her to learn how to overcome her crippling anxiety since they started going out in the summer.

Jade explained: “Something that Jordan taught me, whenever I’m feeling anxious or my self-saboteur is coming out, Jordan is always like, ‘Just think of Little Jade, and look at what you’ve achieved.

Little Jade from South Shields has done this? That’s crazy’. “That’s always stuck with me. I have words of affirmation in my bedroom and one of them says, ‘Little Jade is really proud of you’.

“Any time I feel like s**t that really gets me through.”

On how Jordan changed her perceptions, Jade added: “I feel like you read every self-help book, you have therapy, you speak to people but sometimes you forget about yourself.

“You forget that there was a little version of yourself and if they were watching what you’ve done with your life now they would be like, ‘Oh my gosh, I never thought I could achieve this’.”

Jade previously revealed she had turned to therapy in a bid to overcome her nerves on stage with bandmates Liegh-Anne Pinnock and Perrie Edwards.

Jade must be thrilled she has Jordan in her life.

Meg's out with bust pals

MEGAN BARTON HANSON certainly didn’t over-indulge on Christmas Day by the look of this plunging dress.

The reality star turned heads in the tight-fitting, gem-encrusted frock and high heels while heading out with friends in London’s Covent Garden on Boxing Day.

She is back on the market following her split from Towie Z-lister James Lock after just eight weeks together. Pals said the pair called it quits after arguing on a trip to New York.

Megan had said she couldn’t see herself dating a man after her relationship with songwriter Chelcee Grimes, who has written for Kylie Mingoue and Dua Lipa, broke up in 2020.

After wasting two months with James, I bet Megan wishes she had stuck to her word.

‘I’m trying’

CHRIS MARTIN has ramped up his vocal training and is trying opera to make him even better – which is why I have done him up as TV ad singer Gio Compario.

The COLDPLAY frontman said on US radio overnight: “I train vocally because I want to get better. I

have had a teacher for a long time but during the pandemic we stepped it up. A very good way to develop those muscles is by trying to sing opera.

“Right now I am a really, really good Coldplay singer and a really bad opera singer, but I am trying.”

Louisa causes a stir

LOUISA JOHNSON is trying her hand in the kitchen after spending the past year cooking up new music.

The pop star shared this snap of herself stirring a pot of soup while sipping buck’s fizz over Christmas.

The X Factor 2015 winner revealed last year she had quit her record label to become an independent artist.

After releasing Like I Love Me, Louisa started work on new tracks, and I hope it won’t be long until we hear them.

She said: “This is the start of me being true to myself and making music that really means something to me.”
