Joy-Anna Duggar shares sweet photo of newborn daughter Evy, 8 months, saying '16 pounds & 14oz of pure joy'

JOY-Anna Duggar shared a sweet photo of her newborn daughter, Evelyn, eight months after welcoming her into the world.

The Counting On star called her adorable little girl “16 pounds and 14 ounces of pure joy” in new snaps where Evy – as she’s called for short – smiled for the cameras while playing with toys.

The 23-year-old’s baby girl sat down on the floor of their home in a cute purple onesie.

She flashed a huge grin as she tossed around a blue wood block and pacifier.

Many fans commented that the TLC personality has “the happiest babies” while others said the infant “looks alike” her parents.

In September 2020, Joy-Anna and her husband-of-four-years welcomed their second child together.

They filmed the delivery from the hospital room and shared a glimpse with fans on their joint YouTube page.

However, shortly after she welcomed her bundle of joy, she began getting slammed online by parent critics.

Last month, she shared a snap of her young daughter wearing jewelry on Instagram.

The baby wore a black necklace and white bracelet as she held onto toys in the sink.

Joy-Anna captioned the post: "Bath time is her favorite time! I love Evy’s sweet smile!”

The TV star shares Evy with husband Austin Forsyth, while the couple also share three-year-old son Gideon.

While a number of fans took to the comments section to gush over how cute Evy is, others slammed the young mother on Reddit for allowing the baby to wear jewelry.

One person wrote: "Joy is aggressively clueless.”

Another added: "Joy's kids are so often in dangerous situations.”

A third chimed in: "The jewelry thing is so weird, and makes me a little sad to think if they truly believe it helps with teething or whatever, they didn't do that with Gideon.”

The criticisms continued as another person called the Counting On stars "trash people.”

Joy-Anna and Austin, who tied the knot in 2017, are no strangers to receiving backlash when it comes to how they raise their children.

Earlier in April, fans slammed Joy-Anna for letting Evelyn wear the same chocker necklace in another Instagram post.

Just days earlier, Joy-Anna shared a snap of her young daughter getting into a basket of diapers and seemingly putting a tube of cream in her mouth.

The mother was slammed for having her daughter wear a bracelet with beads, which she also had on while out to dinner.

The DuggarsSnark Reddit quickly called out the TV star, as one person wrote: "Why the baby bracelet? She could easily choke on that.”

Another follower asked: "Isn't that one of those chewable bracelets for teething (spelling?)"
