Katie Price cheers herself up with a Selfridges shopping trip as boyfriend Carl Woods wheels her around luxury store

KATIE Price hit up Selfridges for some retail therapy with boyfriend Carl Woods after learning she might lose her legs.

Katie, 42, looked giddy as ex-Love Islander, Carl, pushed her around in a wheelchair as she clutched her bag of goodies close.

The mum-of-five wore her hair straight down over her shoulders and showed off the colourful casts on her injured legs.

Katie opted for a silver-glitter-coated pink cast on one leg and purple on the other as she browsed the famous London department store.

She giggled and held on tightly as Carl lifted his new girlfriend out of her wheelchair and into a waiting car.

Katie planted a big kiss on Carl to thank him for taking her shopping and looking after her in recovery.

The shopping spree helped put a smile on the businesswoman's face after her horrific accident while on holiday in Turkey.

The former glamour model broke both her feet while jumping off a wall in a theme park in Turkey and was promptly told she will need urgent "major surgery."

The Sun Online exclusively reported this week she will have an operation on both feet because her injuries are "severe" – and this has come with a blunt medical warning attached.

A source exclusively today told The Sun Online: “Katie's doctors have warned her she must take her recovery seriously and it's left her terrified.

"She's prone to getting infections after operations, and her surgeon says she could lose a leg if her feet get infected."

Katie is currently under the care of the Fortius clinical team at Chelsea and Westminster.

She has already been briefed her recovery could be up to six months, if all goes to plan with the procedure.

Yet Katie, famed for her love of cosmetic surgery, hasn't been the luckiest when it comes to swerving infection.
