Kim Kardashian has admitted that husband Kanye West has asked her to dress "less sexy".
The mother-of-four acknowledged that her husband's request plus her work in the White House has led to her decision to think more carefully about what she wears to events and on red carpets, as well as what she posts on social media.
Kim, 39, said she has began to scale back her outfits and the raunchy pictures on Instagram, and said: "I don’t know if it's the fact that my husband has voiced that sometimes too sexy is just overkill and he's not comfortable with that.
"I listen to him and understand him.
"Still, at the end of the day, he always gives me the freedom to be and do what I want."
Speaking to New Yorker magazine, she added: "But I have kind of had this awakening myself."
She continued: "I realised I could not even scroll through Instagram in front of my kids without full nudity coming up on my feed pretty much all the time.
"And I definitely contributed to that."
The reality TV star has been working with the Trump administation in recent months as well on prison reform, and she told the magazine that she would think about her Instagram selfies between meetings, and would hope the staffers did not see them.
Kanye, 42, has been vocal about his desire for Kim's wardrobe and in a recent episode of Keeping Up With The Kardashians the pair rowed over her choice of outfit for the 2019 Met Gala.
The rapper told Kim: "You are my wife and it affects me when pictures are too sexy" before walking off.
"The corset, the underwear, all that vibe, I just feel like. I just went through this transition where from being a rapper, looking at all these girls…looking at my wife – [thinking] 'My girl needs to be just like all the other girls and showing her body off, showing this, showing that'."
"I didn't realise that that was affecting my soul and my spirit as someone that's married and loved and the father – now of about to be four kids," he told Kim, who sat on the sofa on her cellphone.
Kanye continued: "The corset, it's a form of underwear – it's hot but hot for who?"
In response, Kim told her husband of five years: "You built me up to be this sexy person and confidence and all this stuff.
"And just because you're on a journey and you're on your transformation doesn't mean I'm in the same spot with you."
