Kourtney Kardashian's husband Travis Barker slammed for 'creepy' comment about daughter Alabama, 17, in resurfaced novel | The Sun

KOURTNEY Kardashian's husband Travis Barker has been slammed for his "creepy" comment about his daughter Alabama in his resurfaced novel.

Travis, 47, has fans in an uproar after a questionable excerpt from his 2016 memoir Can I Say: Living Large, Cheating Death, and Drums, Drums, Drums recirculates on social media.

The part of his autobiographical novel that had fans somewhat disturbed has to do with the way he illustrated his now 17-year-old daughter's body when she was born.

In the book he spotlighted how glorious it was to be a father to his "little girl" Alabama before making a cringey remark about his child's butt as a baby.

"When we got home, I couldn't believe I had a little girl. And even when she was a baby, she had a crazy bubble butt," the Blink-182 drummer wrote.

"After all the sh*t that I had done to girls through my life, I knew I was cursed."

'GIVE ME A…BREAK'

Many fans found the 47-year-old's assessment of his daughter as problematic and called him out for it on a Reddit thread.

One fan expressed: "This is how men think of any one of the opposite sex … Here she is starting her life and he's already sexualizing her and thinking about what men will want from her. Give me a f***g break. Even a father will treat his daughter this way."

Another critic slammed: "He’s so f***king creepy and gross. This is depraved, while one added: "Ew wtf. I hate this. I feel so dirty just having read it."

A fourth raged: "I swear this man is brain damaged/stupid and now we see he's a perv. What does Kourtney see in him?…"

Though the Hulu personality has gotten much push back from his unintentionally harmful comments, there were some who tried to come to his aid.

One fan explained: "I think context helps…Travis is clearly referring to the “bubble butt” in terms of men wanting her when she’s older, which is sexualizing. I could see how someone else might say “bubble butt” to point out how it’s cute… but there is a fine line…"

PROBLEM PARENT

In spite of Travis attempting to convey his healthy love for his daughter in his book, many fans just logged it as another sign of him being a problematic parent.

Back in December the father-of-two accidentally made a guest appearance on his daughter's Instagram story, garnering harsh judgment from critics for doing so.

In her story Alabama flaunted her very sparkly Christmas gift from her new stepmom Kourtney, 43.

In the video, her diamond ankle bracelet glimmered as it caught the sun.

Alabama wrote: "Thank you so much!" and tagged Kourtney.

While filming her new gift, Alabama is wore her ankle bracelet and showed off her foot.

In the background of the video, Travis can be heard yelling at his daughter: "Don't take pictures of your feet."

A fan account reposted the Instagram story, and fans sounded off in the comments while addressing Travis' comment.

One said: "He said that because he knows men out there have foot fetishes like him with Kourtney."
