Law and Order SVU (Special Victims Unit) is in the middle of airing its 23rd season on NBC. Detective Elliot Stabler (played by Christopher Meloni), who left during the series 13 premiere of the drama, has returned for the spin-off Law and Order Organized Crime. Since making his comeback, his son Eli Stabler Jr (Nicky Torchia) has also appeared in the shows.

What else has Elliot Stabler Jr star Nicky Torchia been in?

Eli Stabler Jr was first introduced in Law and Order SVU season 23’s People vs. Richard Wheatley.

This was the series’ midseason finale which aired on Thursday, December 9, before going on its winter hiatus.

Eli has played an even bigger role in Stabler’s series Organized Crime on NBC.

As Stabler’s work gets more strenuous, it continues to impact his relationship with his son.

The youngster is portrayed by actor Nicky Torchia who has been in various other TV shows and films.

One of his first parts was in Good Morning America back in 2013 in an episode called A Christmas Story the Musical.

He also had a minor role in series Forever and Netflix’s Black Mirror in the episode Arkangel in 2017.

Torchia was a teenager in former NCIS star Michael Weatherly’s legal drama Bull as well.

In 2019, the young actor took to the big screen for the first time in his career.

He featured in the drama The Goldfinch as a young Tom Cable, a childhood friend of Theo Decker.

The movie, which also stars Nicole Kidman, is about Theo who is taken in by a wealthy family after his mum is killed in a bombing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.

In a fit of panic, Theo steals The Goldfinch painting which leads to him being immersed in a world of crime.

Torchia has most recently been working on Law and Order Organized Crime season two.

But he is currently in the middle of filming a television movie as well.

Torchie will portray a character called Devin in Until the Wedding where “a couple’s decision to get married causes a ripple effect among the lives of their friends and family”.

An official release date hasn’t been announced but it should come out sometime in 2022.

In The Christmas Episode of Law and Order Organized Crime, Eli was the main focus of the plot as he went missing.

Thankfully, he did return but there is still mystery surrounding what actually happened and where Eli went.

Hopefully, when the spin-off returns in the New Year, more questions will be answered.

Law and Order Organized Crime will return on Thursday, January 6, 2022, on NBC.
