New Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli accused of ‘breaking rules’ and throwing show into chaos on his second day | The Sun

NEW Britain’s Got Talent judge Bruno Tonioli reportedly caused chaos on his second day on the job.

Audience members claimed he “didn’t understand the rules” after The Sun told how he broke them on the first day by pressing the Golden Buzzer mid performance.

Bruno is the latest addition to the panel, replacing David Walliams, as he joins , Amanda Holden, Simon Cowell and Alesha Dixon  and got to work this week.

Tweeting about his appearance, one person wrote: “I don’t think he still understands the rules of the show.

"An act just came on and got yeses from Simon, Amanda and Alesha and then Bruno said “I’m going to say no, sorry” and then buzzed… all the judges were like “you don’t need to buzz after the act”. It’s funny.

“This is why Bruno is a great addition – he wanted to give today’s act a #GoldenBuzzer. He couldn’t. He proceeded to pull Simon out of his chair to make him press it. He did. They deserved it.”

Twitter account Super TV remarked: “He tried to give someone else a golden buzzer and got told off. He then went on to force Simon into pushing it. Also, every time the judges vote through an act, he keeps saying “sorry, it’s a no from me” and then smacking his buzzer.”

The Sun previously told how the Strictly Come Dancing star got over excited when a dance troupe came on stage, and he hit his golden buzzer before they'd completed his performance during the first day of auditions.

Under normal circumstances the judges on the ITV1 show only do this after they've delivered their audition – but fellow judge Simon Cowell didn't seem to mind.

He said: "That’s never actually happened, you’ve made BGT history. Usually the golden buzzer is pressed after you’ve performed.

"But Bruno was too excited and decided to press it while you were performing."

Hitting his golden buzzer means they go straight through to the live semi-final later this year – but Bruno also acknowledged he'd jumped the gun spectacularly.

He said to the act: "I’m sorry, it just felt right. You have to follow your heart. I was literally exploding, you’ve started this show with a triumph. I can’t wait to see you again."

Bruno's appearance ends weeks of speculation over who would replace the departing David Walliams, with Amanda's pal Alan Carr thought to be a dead cert for the job.

But last week The Sun confirmed exclusively that it would be Bruno, a long-time pal of Simon's who got the coveted role, despite a pay row between him and the women on the panel.
