Ricky Gervais' fans horror as gig is interrupted by THREE fist fights in the audience

RICKY Gervais is well used to rounds of applause, but at his latest gig there were rounds of boxing too – among the audience.

Fans have told of fights breaking out in the crowd during the set, and part-way through one Ricky stopped the show and asked security staff to sort it out.

An audience member told me: “Ricky’s gig was interrupted three times by people scrapping.

“No one had ever seen anything like it.

“During the first fight Ricky actually stopped and got security to intervene.

"He managed to turn it into a joke and the crowd were absolutely loving it.

“But when two more fights broke out it felt like pandemonium.

“Something was clearly in the water.”

The gig, part of Ricky’s Supernature tour, was at the SSE Arena in Wembley, North London.

Ricky will return to the venue on Thursday next week for another set, ahead of two more shows on the tour at The Brighton Centre.

He’ll probably be doing some sparring in preparation.
