Slim James ‘Arg’ Argent spotted returning to rehab after 999 ambulance dash as he ‘hits a blip’ in recovery

JAMES Argent has been spotted returning to rehab – and he looks slimmer than ever.

The reality star was seen walking into the Essex facility after his dramatic 999 ambulance dash.

The 34-year-old is said to have hit a "blip" in his recovery last week when concerned pals called for help after an emergency at his home.

It's believed Arg has voluntarily joined the clinic in Woodford, Essex. and won't stay overnight.

Instead he'll visit daily after worried friends urged him to “be kind to himself”.

He was seen flashing a smile as he walked through the door to continue his treatment.

The Towie star, 34, has turned his life around over the past year, losing an incredible 11 stone in weight.

These pictures show how he's shrunk in size after focusing on his health.

James Argent returns to rehab after 999 ambulance dash

But Arg suffered a scare last Monday as desperately concerned pals called an ambulance when they couldn’t get hold of him.

Thankfully medics were able to treat Arg but he’s been ordered to rest up and friends are now rallying round.

A source told The Sun: "James has done amazingly well in turning his life around. But he’s also been working really, really hard both in the gym and out of it lately.

"He’s hit a bit of a brick wall and crashed and burnt and hit a low. He now needs to take time to just get back to where he was. His mates have ordered him to rest up and be kinder to himself. He might also take a holiday to reset."

Before seeking help for cocaine and alcohol abuse in 2020, Arg described himself as being on "death row".

Paramedics were pictured at his house twice in a matter of months in 2019 after he went missing for 48hours and 'overdosed'.

Last week after being assessed by paramedics, Arg was able to remain at home and didn't need hospital treatment.

A source told The Sun at the time: "James has been doing so well, but the drastic change to his lifestyle has had pressures of its own and can be tough.

"Unfortunately it happened on a day when he was feeling low and an ambulance had to be called.

"He is changing his number again and is now focusing on surrounding himself with the right people who support him in his new healthy lifestyle.”
