Spoilers: Did Paul murder paedophile Kel as he's found dead in Corrie?

Paul Foreman (Peter Ash) learns that paedophile Kel Hinchley (Joe Alessi) has been found dead in Coronation Street, but does he know more about the man’s death than meets the eye?

Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) has suspected for quite some time that the body found in the canal could be that of Kel’s.

In the coming episodes, Mary (Patti Clare) suggests that he go to the police and find out for certain, and he does just that.

Later, he reveals to Paul that he suspects Kel might be dead, and Paul is distraught, and heads out — leaving Billy worried.

Meanwhile, Bernie (Jane Hazelgrove) is delighted to learn that Paul is dead, but Billy finds Paul — drinking in Victoria Gardens — and offers him support.

It’s clear that the young man is struggling to process the news and, later in the week, a police officer calls round and confirms that the body is indeed that of Kel, and thus they want to ask Paul a couple of questions.

Amid the conversation, Paul reveals that he’s not all that surprised that Kel has been murdered, but the officer is taken aback — pointing out the they never confirmed he had been murdered.

Billy asks his beau what makes him think that the abuser had been murdered, before enquiring if had anything to do with it — something which leaves Paul incredibly angry.

Did Paul have something to do with Kel’s death?

Apparently not, as Craig (Colson Smith) confirms that the police aren’t looking for anyone in connection to Kel’s death, as it appears to have been an accidental one.

Billy is relieved — something which leaves Paul all the more hurt, as he realises that Billy actually thought he was capable of murdering Kel.

Will the two be able to get through this?
