Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) avoided a prison sentence in heartwarming scenes in Emmerdale tonight (November 20).
The farmhand has been desperately worried about having to spend time behind bars, after he decided to take the blame for the hit and run that left Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) fighting for her life.
Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) was in the firing line for the crime, after Jamie Tate (Alexander Lincoln) — who actually knocked Moira down — sinisterly set her up.
Therefore, Nate decided that he would take the fall.
However, given that girlfriend Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) is pregnant with his child, he feared the possibility of having to spend time in prison and thus miss the birth.
The young man’s sentencing hearing arrived in tonight’s episode, and the Dingle clan eagerly awaited news from court.
A forlorn Tracy later arrived home to reveal that Nate got two years… suspended!
There was joy aplenty as Nate walked through the door, and all was right in the world.
The question is: will Jamie ever pay for the crime he committed?
